Fleet on Your Feet, Love to Run?

Track and Field is a no tryout sport open to all Mendenhall students.

The first practice will be held Wednesday, April 12th, 1:35pm. Athletes should meet at the track.

Reminder: all participants must have a current physical on file BEFORE the first practice.

Mustang Messages for Friday, March 24, 2017.

 

The girls Volleyball teams A and B have no practice or game today. The 6th grade girls Volleyball team has a game today starting at 3:30 at Hart Middle School, Please arrive at 3:15.

 

LVEF is having a Harlem Wizards Writing Contest!  Write an essay to the prompt: How do organizations like the Harlem Wizards help local communities?  Submit your essay to the office by 12 noon on Monday, March 27th.  Winners will have their essay printed on the program and win 4 general admission tickets to the game.

 

For current 7th grade students who are interested in the trip to Japan, a mandatory informational meeting will be held next Tuesday, March 28th at 7:30pm at the East Avenue Middle School library.  Stop by the office for more information.

 

Deadline extended for current 7th graders! 

Are you a 7th grader that wants to help make Mendenhall awesome for students?  Are you hard working and self-motivated with creative ideas?  Now is your chance to run for Mendenhall ASB office and be a part of a group that plans dances, noontime activities and community service projects.  Complete the application, write an essay and create a “Challenge Project” to qualify.  Applications are available in the office.  Don’t delay!

 

The following library clubs will begin next week and will run until May 12th.   Beginning Monday the Riddles and Logic Puzzles club will meet from 2:35 to 3:15, on Tuesday the Knitting club will meet from 2:35 to 3:25, and on Thursday the Book club will meet from 2:35 to 3:25.

Hello Mustangs! Thank you so much for your generous donations to the Math Department’s Pennies for Patients Fundraiser.  We are continuing to collect donations until the end of March.  Containers will continue to be available in ALL participating math classes. The math class period that wins will win a class party!  Thanks for your help in the fight against blood cancers! Every penny helps!
