That is a record for the best start to our campaign ever! We are continuing to collect donations from now until the end of March, and have a goal of raising $2,000.  Containers will continue to be available in ALL participating math classes to collect spare change.  All funds collected will be used to help find a cure for blood-related cancers and to pay for patient treatment costs.  The math class period that ends up with the highest unit rate of dollars per student will win a class party! Anyone can win, so please keep bringing in those coins! Thanks for your help in the fight against blood cancers! Every penny helps!

Mendenhall Day at the A’s will be on Saturday, April 15th.  If interested, tickets can be purchased at the Mendenhall website by March 20th.

The Math Department is sponsoring a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) Pennies for Patients Fundraiser in March (until Spring Break).

We have collection boxes in all math classes to raise funds for this important cause.  Every penny counts!  Donations can also be made online at our school's fundraising page linked below.  If you use the website to donate, please note the class period and teacher for your math student.  We will have a friendly competition to determine the math class with the highest dollars raised per student.  The winning class will celebrate with a class party.

All coins/funds collected will be given directly to the LLS organization of the Bay Area which will in turn be used to find a cure for blood-related cancer, and to help pay the costs of treatment for cancer patients.

To see our latest fundraising totals, please see the 2nd link below.
