Attention MMS Mustangs and Families:

The Math Teachers in Room 24 are partnering with Leadership to kick off our annual "Pennies for Patients" fundraising campaign.  From now until Spring Break, we are encouraging  students to donate their spare change in special containers within their math classes to help save lives.  Every penny counts!!! The money will be donated directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to find a cure for blood related cancers and help families in our community pay for expensive cancer treatment costs.

Leadership will provide a PIZZA PARTY to the math class period at MMS that donates the highest amount of money per student.  In math, we call this a "unit rate".   Leadership will also award a sweet treat to the highest unit rate math class within each math teacher's room.  This way, every math teacher will have a winning class period!!

Donations of any kind are accepted including pennies, other coins, dollars, checks written to Leukemia Lymphoma Society, or online donations at the website linked below.   This is a great way to get rid of those pennies at home.  Please email Mrs. Stevens on school loop if you have any questions.

Thanks so much for your support of this important cause!
